Training dedicated to installation designers, students and employees
research and teaching facilities starting to work with Autodesk Revit

Target:

Students will have the skills to use the basic tools of the program
Autodesk Revit, especially:

using parametric 3D modeling tools
insertion and modification of designed sanitary installation systems
creating technical documentation, project visualization, creating printout sheets and summaries

Requirements: basic computer literacy

Training schedule:

Introduction to the program, setting work parameters, templates and views

Introduction to BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology
Autodesk Revit Basics: User Interface; settings and customization
program parameters, shortcuts, basic operations on installation elements and families
Creation and modification of project templates
Model of internal installations - views: working on views; control of the visibility of model objects; work on projections and sections; work on a 3D view

Modeling of sanitary installations in Revit (on the example of a residential building)

Architectural background (equivalent - xref in AutoCAD)
adapting the project viewer to the needs of designers
define default settings for individual installations
defining a library of code elements typical for the work of a designer (e.g. defining an additional diameter)
creating sections of the installation
