A training dedicated to architects, students and research and teaching staff who want to start working in ArchiCAD Graphisoft

Targer:

Students will learn how to use the basic ArchiCAD Graphisoft tools, in particular:

• creating virtual models of buildings in BIM technology
• using parametric 3D modeling tools
• creating technical documentation based on a 3D model
• creating lists (area, quantity, material)
• creating visualizations
• publishing 2D documentation
• publishing BIMx models

Training schedule:

Introduction to the program, familiarization with the work environment

• Introduction to BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology
• getting to know the user interface - overview, ways to edit and personalize
• different editing windows
• types of files, ways of opening and saving them

Modeling the architecture of the building at the level of detail of the conceptual design (on the example of a residential building)

• importing external files of the type (PDF, DWG) as underlays or maps to the workspace by various methods
• setting the project location
• location of the building on the plot
• building modeling: creating and editing structural axes, modeling walls, ceilings, windows, doors, stairs, railings, roofs, library elements
• modeling of environmental and terrain elements
• basics of selecting, selecting and editing elements, creating relationships between elements, setting layers
• broadcasting and editing of building materials and types of finishing

Project presentation

• generation of projections, sections, elevations, 3D documents and their settings
• creating descriptions of drawings, dimensioning, labels
• creating listings of areas, quantitative statements
• creating basic visualizations
• use of the view map
• using a folder of sheets, creating templates, sheets
• publication of the project
• publication of the BIMx file
